The Storm TT concept was to create the lightest and stiffest time trail frame on the market. To do so, we teamed up with the most advanced factory in Taiwan. Although they also produce for most of the other high end performance brands, our engineers are former employees of the factory and have specialized knowledge and experience from other brand's successes and failures. This along with the development of high modulus carbon in 12K weave, allowed us to create the Storm TT.
The main feature of the 1220 gram frame is using the high modulus carbon composite 12K weaves that are ultra strong and allows us to thin out the tube walls, where geometrically safe, while adding more material where it is needed to make the frame stiff and solid. The design is optimized for the best weight-to-stiffness ration. The advanced layup of the carbon weave is what makes the frame so light, yet safe and stiff. We use variations in directional layup, wall thicknesses, even variations in modulus stiffness. The high modulus carbon composites are not proprietary, but they are very expensive, which is why hardly any other brand uses them.
The geometry of the frame is forward aggressive with tubes that are designed to optimize the highest stiffness to aero-ratio. Tubes are aerodynamically shaped, but not to the extent of losing integrity. This ratio is based on the fact that stiffness and energy transfer is of greater effect on speed than slight aerodynamic compromises. All extreme aero frames lose stiffness due to lack of geometric integrity. The Storm TT frame utilizes a very short head tube, which allows for a compact, stiff and light frame geometry. This translates into quick acceleration and a very responsive frame. The shape of the rear-fairing increases aerodynamics as does the down tube. The seat-stays and chain-stays make for a very comfortable ride, yet the shape of all the tubes themselves, makes them very strong. The over-sized bottom bracket ensures that all the energy from the cranks are transferred directly into acceleration. No power is lost. This is the first thing riders notice, when riding the Storm TT!
The fork on the Storm TT frame set is a full carbon, aerodynamic design with enhanced strength. We only make the strongest high performance forks that are still extremely light weight. All high modulus carbon 12K weave using an aerodynamic shape that has been engineered geometrically to further strength.
| Size | Wheel Size | Head Tube Angle | BB Drop | Top Tube | Head Tube Length | Front Center | Rear Center | Stand Over Height | Stack | Reach |
| S | 700c | 72 | 70 | 535 | 95 | 586 | 399 | 744 | 476 | 381 |
| M | 700c | 72 | 70 | 559 | 105 | 604 | 399 | 748 | 480 | 406 |

Note 1: The stand-over height is measured to the top tube directly above the bottom bracket.
Note 2: The above head tube lengths are for integrated headsets. To compare to non-integrated head tubes, deduct 20mm from the above lengths to adjust for the stack height needed for non-integrated headsets.
